The FTMobile portable scanner is a full-function bar code scanner with color touch-screen. It holds thousands of bar code scans and connects via USB. FileTrail's FTMobile software provide a full menu system on the screen, to guide users through processes. It can be used for Check-In, Check-Out, Shelve, Containerize, Archive, and Audit functions.

The direct-connect bar code scanner is used to perform transactions on-line, in real time. It connects via USB and can be used in any transaction that the user's security allows them to access.

FileTrail works with almost any Zebra printer. However, the following are recommended models:
