Select Your Preferred Language in FileTrail for SharePoint

Staff in offices in various countries have always wanted to use their own language when utilizing FileTrail for SharePoint. When creating this feature the idea was to help our clients with offices around the world to access FileTrail for SharePoint in their native language. In some places multiple languages are spoken, such as Quebec where some people prefer French and some prefer English, or Belgium, where English, Dutch, German and French are all spoken. The localization capabilities in the FileTrail foundation have come to fruition. Users can select their individual preference. Currently English, French, German, Spanish, Arabic, and Dutch are available. Portuguese and Chinese (traditional simplified) are already planned, but any language can be added within 30 days.

The following screen shots demonstrate the software in Arabic, Dutch and Spanish.

Localization with FileTrail 4.0

FileTrail 4.0 makes it possible for localization of language, date format and time zones to be personalized for each user. FileTrail 4.0 is available in English, French, Spanish, German, Arabic, and Dutch. Further, clients and partners can easily configure the browser-based client to add any additional languages required for their unique environment. As a configurable user-level setting, one server can support a multitude of different language preferences. "This new release, from a technical stand point and a user experience, allows us to deliver a truly global solution. Now if a company is managing active records in a departmental file room or archived records stored off-site anywhere in the world, they can feel secure knowing that they have full visibility of what exists, its exact location, and assurance that it has been handled correctly per company policy - all this information from within any system. In today's growing global environment and complex regulatory and legal landscape, this is an invaluable tool." said Darrell Mervau, President of FileTrail.
